Panel Discussion & Vendor Dinner Countdown
Panel Discussion & Vendor Dinner
“Bridging the Gaps through Supplier Diversity”
The MASHMM Board would like to welcome you and thank you for your support of our Supply Chain & Healthcare Community these last two years. We appreciate your professionalism and dedication to our field.
Supplier Diversity is a subset of Equity Inclusion and Diversity. Diversity is characteristics that make us unique as individuals. Inclusion creates an environment where everyone is respected, valued, and integrated.
Procurement Officers and Supply Chain professionals are vital in bridging the traditional gaps of equity, inclusive, and diverse partnerships. Our panel discussion will focus on Supplier Diversity’s impact on the community, healthcare, and social economics.
We are two weeks away from the Annual MASHMM Dinner/Vendor appreciation evening and wanted to express our gratitude to all our fabulous vendors.
Due to their generous sponsorships/support, we can offer the event at NO CHARGE to our providers.
This is a great opportunity to come out, break bread, socialize and attend a very exciting panel discussion about diversity in the healthcare supply chain.
Please join us on November 17th at the Merriweather Hotel for a great evening and a chance for us to share ideas and celebrate 2022 and look forward to 2023.
Enjoy networking, hors’doerves, drinks, dinner, vendor fair with giveaways and an outstanding panel discussion.
Also, there will be awesome door prizes!!! Just for attending, you will be entered in to possibly win!
Panel Moderator: Susan Morris
Susan has a diverse background spending time in manufacturing and sales prior to entering healthcare. She spent more than a decade in a regional rural community based health system before leaving to work with Cerner in Kansas City. While there she developed educational programs to help orient consultants to their new role in healthcare and improving processes for clients and Cerner alike. Although this was rewarding, she missed contact with patients and feeling like the work she did had a positive impact on patient care. She returned to the provider side of healthcare and currently is the Supply Chain Director with MedStar Montgomery Medical Center. Susan has also been an active participant in local AHRMM chapters in Ohio and Missouri and on the national level by serving on assorted committees and the AHRMM Advisory Board.
