“Exploring Potential Impact of Blockchain Technology to Healthcare”

Please plan to join us for this important meeting. Our presenter is Mark Wilcox, Product Manager of Data Solutions at GHX. He is guiding the development of GHX’s new global platform and driving data alignment across GHX solutions.

Mark Wilcox has been with GHX for more than 10 years, and has been designing and implementing electronic commerce solutions for over 25 years. He is currently engaged in driving down the cost of healthcare by combining proven master data management techniques with web2.0 solutions employing NoSQL databases, blockchain technology, machine learning and crowd-sourcing.

During his presentation, Mark will be exploring the following questions:

– What is blockchain technology?

– What are the unique benefits of blockchain technology?

– How could blockchain be used in Healthcare?

– What are some of the examples where blockchain is being applied in Healthcare today?

This meeting will be held at Anne Arundel Medical Center in the Doordan Institute Conference Center on the top floor of the Belcher Pavilion, 2000 Medical Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21401. Park in Garage E. The meeting will be in Doordan Institute located on the 7th floor of the building.

Registration and networking will begin at 8:00 AM

Program Presentation is scheduled to begion at 9:00 AM and will be followed by a question and answer period and discussion
