Scott Clausen is Head, US Sales, Healthcare for Amazon Business. Amazon Business is innovating how healthcare organizations source and purchase products to improve supply chain efficiency, simplify contract administration, and make comparison sourcing easy. Scott brings more than 25 years of global healthcare supply chain to the Amazon team. He began his career with Johnson & Johnson Orthopedics, and has served in a variety of leadership positions over the years, most recently as Vice President of Service Delivery at University Healthsystem Consortium (now part of Vizient), where he was responsible for member recruitment, retention, and the deployment of UHC’s supply chain services. Scott has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Wheaton College and an MBA in Marketing from National Louis University. At Amazon Business, Scott leads Amazon’s national efforts to secure early adoption among the nation’s largest IDNs.

In this session, the current state of the healthcare value chain will be examined through the lens of Amazon Business. Since its inception, Amazon has always worked backwards from the consumer and Amazon Business continues this legacy by now building the Amazon consumer experience for the B2B space.
