The first MASHMM meeting of the year, January 27^th, was very successful thanks to our special guest, Mr. Anirban Basu and to everyone that attended.

The next meeting is scheduled for April 27^th. Our speaker will be from the consulting firm of Deloitte.  The subject matter will be “Data Mining,” a subject near and dear to all of our hearts.

The MASHMM Board is sending out this month the election ballot for several board positions that are currently open. They are:

• President-Elect
• Secretary
• Membership Chairperson
• Treasurer

Please respond to the email with your choices for these important positions.

The MASHMM Chapter has been a DIAMOND chapter of AHRMM for two years in a row. The affiliation packet will be sent in to AHRMM for 2011 with our goal as DIAMOND for a third year. MASHMM is the only chapter in the country to hold this prestigious status. It is all thanks to you, the members, that we have been able to accomplish this great achievement.

Mark your calendars for August 5-8, 2012.  The AHRMM Annual Conference will be in San Antonio, Texas this year. Come join us in representing MASHMM at this great national event.

As always, thank you for your participation in this great organization. We look forward to several great events during 2012. Feel free to contact any of the Board Members with feedback or interest in volunteering.
